Senior Procurement Executive
Report
  • Senior Procurement Executive shall report to the Procurement Manager/Production Manager
Duties
  • Responsible for procurement of all required materials and services.
  • Sourcing new suppliers; sending inquiries and obtaining quotes from various suppliers/subcontractors as per material specifications, BOQ and approved drawings.
  • Preparation of price comparisons (with 3 quotations) for approvals and obtaining approvals from the authority for the procurement process orders.
  • Negotiating of rates with suppliers in accordance with Corporate Compliance rules and regulations.
  • Monitor all materials are delivered within the agreed lead time: For repeated items, lead time is 7 days
    • For new orders, lead time is 14 days for items that purchased locally.
    • For items purchased Overseas, the lead time is 3 months.
    • For reinforcement bars, lead time is 7 days
    • For cut and bend links, cut to size rebar and mesh, lead time is 14 days
    • For new orders, lead time is 14 days for items that purchased locally.
    • For items purchased Overseas, the lead time is 3 months.
  • Managing store to ensure all consumables and production items are stocked to the minimum quantity.
    1. Submit monthly material prices for:
      • Cement
      • Sand
      • 14mm aggregates
      • 20mm aggregates
      • Admixtures
      • 12m reinforcement bars
      • 9.53mm diameter and 12.7mm diameter prestressed strands
    2. Weekly stock take of consumable items and production items that are in the Store.
    3. Monthly stock take for consumable materials, customer’s supply materials.
      And the stock take report are to be submitted to Finance department by 7th of every month.
    4. Issue PR for consumable items
    5. Co-ordinate with Singapore procurement team on issuing of Purchase orders.
    6. Prepare cut-to size rebar, cut & bend links and mesh monitoring records weekly
    7. Prepare list of materials to be back charge to RC subcontractor by 24th of every month.
    8. Arrange for sales of scrap and to submit scrap metal records (with photos).
    9. Keep records of weighing records for sand, cement, aggregates, reinforcement bars, cut and bend Links, cur to size links, welded meshes and Prestressed strands
    10. Prepare and update the welded meshed master price list for every project
    11. Maintenance of written commercial agreements are in place for the manufacture and / or Analysis of finished products.
    12. Maintain, regularly review and update of the Approved Vendor List every 3 months.
    13. Any other duties and responsibilities that assigned by superior from time to time.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Degree in related field.
  • 3-5 years of experiences in Construction (Preferably in Precast)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Converge system
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong in English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage as need to communicate with Mandarin speaking suppliers.

Production Engineer

Report
  • Production Engineer shall report to the Senior Production Engineer
Duties
  • Oversees the plant production operation and ensures that all work instructions and procedures are strictly followed.
  • Collaborate with Production Engineer (Konverge) to organize, developing plans and effective scheduling of rules for optimum utilization of production capacity.
  • Ensure execution of production progress are follow the production schedule within the time frame given.
  • Liaising and coordinate between Contract Department, Procurement Department, QAQC Department, Mould team and Sub-contractor to ensure smooth of daily production.
  • Collaborate with QAQC Department, initiate to identify and diagnosing the root cause of product’s defect to improve production’s efficiency.
  • Ensures the quality of the production of precast concrete components in accordance with latest approved shop drawings, work instructions, casting programme & approved quality control methods.
  • To perform of full inspection of mould receiving and daily pre-pour inspections of precast components with consultant’s representative according to approved precast shop drawings.
  • Assist Production Engineer (Konverge) to monitoring and controlling material usage and wastage are within tolerance.
  • To assist Senior Production Engineer in managing a team of Production Supervisors, and workers in ensuring timely production and delivery of precast components. Disseminate through Production Executive if needed.
  • Providing necessary production’s documentation to Data Entry Clerk.
  • Maintain and implement quality control system in the factory and project sites by following the project quality manual and standard operating procedures set by the company.
  • Liaising with Production Department’s member and sub-contractors for any non-conformance for pre-pour inspection, trains workers whenever necessary and as required.
  • Any other tasks which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experiences in Construction (Preferably in Precast)
  • Knowledge of Autocad would be an advantage
  • Good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork

Production Supervisor

Report
  • Production Supervisor shall report to the Production Executive
Duties
  • To lead the production operatives within the assigned production line, establishing and maintaining high standards of performance.
  • Responsible for leading and coordinating the production of assigned mould including activities of Sub-Contractor to achieve production within the day and to the quality standard required.
  • Supervision in the daily production of precast concrete to meet with the production schedule.
  • Ensure sufficient of raw material of daily usage in accordance to daily production schedule, reporting to immediate superior if needed.
  • Prepare and conduct mould inspection and pre-pour inspection on daily basis, prepare checklist and relevant inspection reports.
  • Maintain production’s documentation well-records.
  • Ensuring the plant production operation, work instructions and procedures are strictly followed.
  • Closely standing supervision of concrete pours and check continuously of finishes surface towards conformance to specifications and standards.
  • Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements if needed.
  • To ensure that workers are adequately skilled and experienced in following and understanding correct production methods.
  • Maintain and implement quality control system in the factory and project sites by following the project quality manual and standard operating procedures set by the company.
  • Liaising with Production Department’s member and sub-contractors for any non-conformance for pre-pour inspection, trains workers whenever necessary and as required.
  • Any other tasks which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering and/ or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience in quality control in precast industry.
  • Experience in precast industry (HDB Project)
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Possess problem-solving, analyzing and reporting skills.
  • Positive attitude in learning.

QAQC Engineer

Report
  • QAQC Engineer shall report to the QAQC Manager
Duties
  • Implement and maintain quality control system in the factory by following the quality policies and standard operating procedures set by the company.
  • Plan, schedule, organize and execute inspections & testings.
  • Participate in scheduled and unscheduled inspection and testing with internal & external parties as and when required.
  • To conduct 100% physical checks at the stages of post-pour and pre-delivery inspection.
  • Monitor and upkeep routine calibration records of quality inspection and testing apparatus.
  • Updating, compilation and submission of relevant inspection and testing records
  • Ensures the quality of the production of precast concrete units / Hollow Core Slabs in accordance with the shop drawing, work instructions, casting programme and approved quality control methods.
  • Review standard work procedures and method statements for compliance and ensure that the workers follow correct work methods.
  • Raise non-conformance report and assists in review corrective actions and closure of NCRs.
  • Trains workers whenever necessary and as required.
  • Ensure comply all ISO standards related to the job functions and method.
  • To carry out work task as assigned by Management.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experiences in Construction (Preferably in Precast)

QAQC Supervisor

Report
  • Reporting to QAQC Engineer
Duties
  • To coordinate with Production & Logistic team for production & delivery inspections.
  • To carry out precast panel inspection at required various stages (pre-pour, post-pour & pre-delivery).
  • To liaise with QAQC Engineer & RTO for inspection.
  • To upkeep all quality record and photos required by respective departments.
  • To co-ordinate and assist QAQC Manager /Engineer on quality matters.
  • To check the quality of cast-in items, raw materials including concrete batching & pouring as and when requires by QAQC Manager/ Engineer
  • Involve inspection & report work progress.
  • To carry out work task as assigned by Management.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering and/ or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience in quality control in precast industry.
  • Experience in precast industry (HDB Project)
  • Good organization and personal skill
  • User in MS Offer and MS Excel
  • Experiences in preparing documents for HDB

Assistant Production Manager

Report
  • Assistant Production Manager shall report to the Plant Manager
Duties
  • Overall control of ready-mixed concrete batching and precast production.
  • Oversee the planning of production and delivery schedule.
  • Assisting the Plant Manager with administrative tasks like planning and arrangement of staff, manpower, material and machinery.
  • Control of production cost, quality and occupational health and safety.
  • Overseeing quality control throughout all stages of production and delivery process.
  • Liaising and coordinating production with other departments.
  • Monitoring the procure of raw materials needed for the efficiency execution of production and delivery.
  • Identify, diagnosis and provide solution to resolve any major complaints / issues from clients including delayed schedule.
  • Maintenance and housekeeping of Factory Building including machine & equipment, production site, storage site if any.
  • Ensure compliance with requirements by clients and all safety regulations by authorities.
  • Ensure optimal output per site to achieve plant and/or Company targets.
  • Manage and provide solutions to operational problems to improve and better manage schedule, towards accomplishment of project goals.
  • Attend site meetings or liaison with client to adhere to schedule and quality.
  • Any other tasks which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil Engineering) or equivalent
  • 5 – 8 years of experiences in precast industry
